Dracula-Bram Stoker

Dracula was written by Bram Stoker and originally published in the year 1897. Dracula is a gothic horror novel that is based on the main character Count Dracula which was the initial introduction of this character to this world. The main characters of this novel are:
Count Dracula, Jonathan Harker, Lucy Westerna, Abraham Van Helsing, Mina Murray.

Jonathan Harker is a solicitor from England, who is sent to Transalvania to seek Count Dracula as he wants to buy a few properties in England. Arriving at Dracula's castle, Harker is suspicious about the surroundings. However after meeting Dracula he believes that he is a good man who just wants to buy a property in England. Even though he looked a little weird.

Harker signed off the deal and as days passed by, situations got worse and more weird. He was attacked by three female vampires and knew something was seriously wrong when Dracula stopped the female vampires and said, "he is mine". Harker  was left being a prisoner at Dracula's castle.

Mina Murray is Jonathan Harker's fiancee who is in England. Lucy Westerna is her best friend. The both of them are completely opposite to each other. Mina is a sweet, shy and innocent lady. On the other hand Lucy is very open minded and sexual. As Dracula arrives to England, strange things start happening with Lucy. Mina is the reason that Dracula wants revenge from Harker. This is because he thinks that Mina is his wife as she looks exactly like his wife.

Mina catches Lucy sleepwalking and follows her outside. Mina is shocked as she sees Lucy at the edge of a cliff. She calls for Lucy and brings her into the house. Lucy was bitten by Count Dracula. As Lucy starts getting weaker by the day and starts acting ghostly, her fiancee is concerned about her well being. He figures out that there is something wrong with her and calls his teacher Abraham Van Helsing for help.

Looking at the bite marks on Lucy's neck Van Helsing is suspicious and confronts her fiancee that her  current state could have been caused by a creature that lives but is dead. At the point he doesn't believe a word Helsing says. After a numerous amount of blood transfusions Lucy's condition worsens instead of getting better and she eventually dies. However Helsing was determined that she is not dead and has turned into a vampire but her fiancee did not believe that until he was taken to her tombstone. After Helsing killed Lucy they were now on the hunt for Count Dracula himself.

Meanwhile Harker fleas away from Dracula's castle and on the other hand Dracula comes into Mina's life. She has a weird feeling towards him. She falls for Dracula without knowing who he really is but eventually gets married to Harker. After knowing who Dracula is and what Mina feels for him she goes to him. In the end Count Dracula is then killed in the same way Lucy was.
